No. 18 Toyota GR Supra News and Notes:
· Welcome Back: Ryan Truex returns to the track this weekend at Darlington Raceway in the No.18 Toyota GR Supra. Truex is making his third of four scheduled starts for Joe Gibbs Racing this weekend. In his last outing in the No. 18 at Martinsville Speedway a few weeks ago, Truex started fourth and finished seventh, securing his first top-10 finish of the 2022 season.
· The Lady in Black: Truex will be making his third-career NASCAR Xfinity series start at Darlington Raceway on Saturday afternoon. In his two previous starts at the track “too tough too tame”, the 30-year-old has an average start of 13.5 with an average finish of 20.0. Truex has completed 279 of a possible 294 laps around the famed track.
· JGR at Darlington: In 74 combined NASCAR Xfinity Series starts at Darlington Raceway, JGR has earned 11 wins, 36 top five and 48 top-10 finishes. The team has led 1,303 laps, with an average start of 12.8 and an average finish of 10.6.
· RACE INFO: The Mahindra ROXOR 200 at Darlington Raceway is scheduled for Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. ET. Watch and listen live on Fox Sports 1, Sirius XM Channel 90 and MRN Radio.

We had a good run at Martinsville a few weeks ago and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do at one of the toughest tracks on the circuit this weekend. The handling on our Toyota GR Supra will be extremely important to get right this weekend as the track goes through changes throughout the race. (Crew Chief) Jason (Ratcliff) and the guys have worked hard this week in getting our Toyota set up just right, so hopefully we can go out and put on a great show for the fans on Saturday afternoon.”
