“First free practice in Barber and the car felt great. We made a change to the blue Enevate car. We’ve done a good job on the balance and finished the session well. There are a few things we can do before tomorrow. I’m really happy with the car, there is a bit of tuning to be done, but I think we have a really strong place to start the weekend.”
Andretti Autosport completed Practice One at Barber Motorsports Park under sunny skies. Colton Herta was fastest overall with teammates Alexander Rossi and Romain Grosjean following in third and fourth, respectively. Rookie Devlin DeFrancesco topped the charts near the start of the session before finishing 14th overall. Drivers will aim to keep pace with one more practice session before they put their heads down to qualify Saturday at noon CT, 1 p.m. ET.
