“I’m looking forward to starting the West Coast swing with three straight races in what will be the final stretch of my time in INDYCAR at Andretti Autosport. I’m ready for Portland and focused on capping the 2021 season in strong form.”
After COVID-19 restrictions hampered the 2020 Grand Prix of Portland, the NTT INDYCAR SERIES makes its return to the 12-turn, 1.964-mile natural road course to kick off the final three-race swing on the West Coast. The 2021 Grand Prix of Portland will be the 27th INDYCAR SERIES race at Portland International Raceway, but only the third since the series returned in 2018.
Of the four current Andretti Autosport drivers, Ryan Hunter-Reay has the highest finish at Portland, when he made it to the second step of the podium in 2018. Hunter-Reay has started in the top six at both of his outings on the road course in 2018 and 2019.
TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
