“It’s crazy to think that there are only three races left in the season, but the West Coast swing is always a highlight of the year. All three of these tracks are tracks that we’ve had success on over the years, so let’s get to Portland and get the momentum started for a strong finish to the year.”

After COVID-19 restrictions hampered the 2020 Grand Prix of Portland, the NTT INDYCAR SERIES makes its return to the 12-turn, 1.964-mile natural road course to kick off the final three-race swing on the West Coast. The 2021 Grand Prix of Portland will be the 27th INDYCAR SERIES race at Portland International Raceway, but only the third since the series returned in 2018.

James Hinchcliffe qualified just outside of the top six in his first appearance at Portland in 2018 and was taken out on the first lap of the 2019 race. Hinchcliffe claimed his first Atlantics Championship win at Portland International Raceway in 2006.

TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
