TRUEX AT MICHIGAN: Martin Truex Jr. has posted four consecutive top-five finishes at Michigan International Speedway dating back to 2019. Overall, he has recorded 10 top-five finishes and 13 top-10s in 30 career starts at the track. His 10 top-five finishes are his most at any track he has yet to win at. Truex owns three runner-up finishes and six third-place finishes at Michigan, including three in a row dating back to August 2019.
INDY RECAP: The No. 19 team finished 15th after overcoming an unscheduled pit stop early in the race and being involved in two late-race accidents in last weekend’s race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.

In 146 combined starts at the two-mile track, the organization has racked up 43 top-five finishes, 69 top-10s and 1,104 laps led. Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, Matt Kenseth, Bobby Labonte and Tony Stewart have all driven JGR entries to victory lane at Michigan.

We’ve also had very strong cars up there the past few years, just haven’t quite had the best car yet, but we have been close. I’m excited to get back up to Michigan this weekend.
