What might be a very big story coming out of the Wine Country this weekend is what rookie sensation ,”Young Money”, Kyle Larson, has been able to accomplish in his first weekend at Sonoma. Saturday Larson led, basically wire to wire, the K&N West Series race at Sonoma on Saturday.  Thereby, picking up the Saturday victory, and garnering valuable road course experience for the Sunday Sprint Cup race!

If the K&N West Series win wasn’t enough good news for the Elk Grove, CA, native, “Young Money” had a fantastic qualifying run, and starts on the inside of the second row.  That is a third starting position on the grid!  Did I say that this was Larson’s first weekend at Sonoma in a stock car?

With an inside second row starting spot for the Savemart/Toyota 350, “Young Money” has an excellent chance to try to pick up his very first Sprint Cup victory Sunday!

Let me reiterate, if there is any question that Kyle Larson is not a very talented 21 year old racer all you need to do is check out the Target Chip Ganassi #42 Target Chevy’s results since Larson slid into the driver’s seat.  Do  quick comparison with this season’s results versus last season’s results with Juan Pablo Montoya behind the wheel!  I believe that those stats will justify all the press that Larson has gotten so far in 2014!

I am just saying………………..!

TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING IN MY REDNECK!
