For the last fifteen years, since 1999, Home Depot has been a big part of the success of the Joe Gibbs Racing #20 Toyota race team. Home Depot was the primary sponsor of both of the championship seasons that Tony Stewart brought to JGR.
Unfortunately, the days of the orange, #20 Home Depot ,car are coming to an end. The company, which has been a primary NASCAR sponsor for fifteen years, will leave the sport after its contract with Joe Gibbs Racing ends this season, said sources familiar with Home Depot’s plans.
