2021 NASCAR XFINITY SERIES PLAYOFFS: Brandon Jones and the No. 19 Menards/Little Hug team head to Talladega Superspeedway for the second race in the Round of 12. Las Vegas was a good start with a strong sixth place finish and 10 points above the cutoff line. The No. 19 Menards/Little Hug team is completely focused on Talladega and advancing to the next round.
BRANDON JONES AT TALLADEGA: This will be Jones’ eighth start on the Superspeedway. He has led laps, had his struggles there, but he has also had a couple near wins. This 113-lap race is definitely a wild card and is exhilarating for the fans. This trip the 19 team realizes they need to be smart, but aggressive at the same time to advance to the next round. They can’t make mistakes. The Joe Gibbs Racing drivers need to draft well with their teammates early but go for the big prize at the end. There isn’t much room for error, and Jones must stay out of the “Big One”. Jones will be back in the Menards Toyota Supra with Little Hug prominently displayed on the hood.

JGR AT TALLADEGA: JGR has 59 Xfinity Series starts at Talladega Superspeedway and has earned five wins, 16 top-five, 24 top-10 finishes and five poles. The championship-winning organization has an average start of 10.5 and an average finish of 17.2.
RACE INFO: Sparks 300 at Talladega Superspeedway (2.66-mile) begins at 3:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, October 2nd. The race will be broadcast live on NBCSN, SiriusXM Channel 90 and MRN Radio.

Brandon Jones: “We had a solid run at Las Vegas to start the Playoffs and we came out of there above the cutoff line. Now it’s time to focus on Talladega. This is our second trip there this year, so we have a notebook to work from. Everyone knows the superspeedway can be a wild card, but I know we will be contenders there. We need to be aggressive and make sure we don’t get caught up in someone else’s mistake. I will be watching plenty of tape and working with my teammates to prepare for the drafting and wild scenarios Talladega can bring. We have Little Hug on the hood of our Menards Supra. It would be great to get a good finish for them. We will be going for the win so we can advance to the next Round of the Playoffs.”
