No. 19 Menards/Patriot Lighting Toyota Supra News and Notes:
· JONES IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Jones and the No. 19 team are coming off a huge second place finish at Michigan International Speedway and are carrying that momentum along with their strong Superspeedway program to Daytona. Jones has shown speed there winning Stage 1 earlier this year and running top-five until being wrecked ending his day early. Jones and the Menards team will be prominently displaying Patriot Lighting on their Toyota Supra this weekend.
· JONES AT DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY: This will be Jones’ 12th start on the prestigious 2.5-mile superspeedway. He has two top-five and four top-10 finishes, a pole and has led laps on the historic track. Jones and the 19 Menards/Patriot Lighting team are focused on staying out of the “Big One”, drafting with their teammates, running up front and bringing home a strong finish at Daytona.
· WELCOME ABOARD PATRIOT LIGHTING: This is the first of two Xfinity Series races with Patriot Lighting and they will be proudly displayed on the hood of the No. 19 Menards Toyota Supra this weekend. Their second race is scheduled for October 23, 2021 at Kansas Speedway.

· JGR AT DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY: JGR has 104 total starts on the Daytona International Speedway oval in the NXS, earning four wins, 27 top-five finishes, 43 top-10 finishes and nine pole starting positions. The team has led 674 laps and has an average finish of 16.9. Tony Stewart (2008), Denny Hamlin (2008), Joey Logano (2011) and Matt Kenseth (2013) each have one win for JGR in the series.

This team has speed and momentum and can’t wait to demonstrate that Friday under the lights. The night race is always exciting for the drivers and fans, but the key is to stay out of the “big one”. Overall, we have a strong Superspeedway program, and we can definitely see the results from all our hard work. I have had some good runs at the Superspeedway and am still looking for a win at a plate race. Jeff Meendering and I have been looking closely at previous notes and tapes to help with some drafting techniques, but we will need to work well with our teammates. We will have Menards and Patriot Lighting on our Toyota Supra and our team will be focused on finishing strong at Daytona.”
