“We had a lot better result today, but the same disappointment. I thought we had a car to win, but I just didn’t get it done unfortunately. Everything else with the strategy and the pit stops was perfect. A big thank you to Gainbridge and happy to be powered by Honda. They gave us a lot of support and fast cars this weekend. We’ll get them next week at Road America.“
The Detroit Chevrolet Grand Prix came to a close today with the second race of the doubleheader weekend. Another round of qualifying set the tone for the day and Colton Herta led the Andretti Autosport team with a second-place qualifying position, missing out on the pole by three tenths of a second.
With the doubleheader on the streets of Belle Isle complete, the Andretti Autosport stable shifts their focus to Road America – the longest track on the NTT INDYCAR SERIES schedule.
