A rain-washed morning at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway delayed the final practice session of the Month of May. After the weather delay, the field of 33 took to the track for the final Carb Day practice to fine-tune setups for the 105th Running of the Indianapolis 500 Presented by Gainbridge with the two-hour session only cut short by a few minutes due to additional rain.
Sunday’s coverage for the Indianapolis 500 kicks off with the pre-race show on NBC Sports Network at 9 a.m. ET leading into the race broadcast on NBC at 11 a.m. ET.
“Happy that we were able to get Carb Day in today, the weather held off. Conditions have obviously changed a lot from what we were running in on Sunday after qualifying, so it’s good to get that information. I think we’re slowly tuning the Genesys No. 29 car in to where we need it to be and hopefully by the drop of the green flag on Sunday we’ve got it exactly where we want it.”
TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
