- Sheldon Creed lined up second for Friday’s event. Creed finished sixth in Stage One and the team pitted during the break to correct a loose handling Silverado. Creed was tagged in an incident that would end the second stage and the team made several pit stops to fix damage and allow Creed to continue. The damage would prove to be a hindrance to Creed for the second half of the race and he would ultimately finish 22nd.
- Creed led once for a total of one laps.
- Creed is currently sixth in the points standings. Creed is locked into the playoffs by virtue of his wins at Kentucky and the Daytona Road Course.
