Safeway, a nationwide grocery store chain, will be on board the No. 83 Toyota Camry with Corey LaJoie for the Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond Raceway.
“Safeway is honored to partner with race car driver Corey LaJoie and to support his race in Richmond, Virginia,” said Kelly Boyd, Safeway Eastern Division Marketing Director. “Corey’s determination and commitment to the sport is something we admire and incorporate into Safeway for over 87 years.”
“It’s very cool to have such a familiar brand as Safeway on my car for the Richmond race,” said LaJoie. “Richmond is a special place for BK Racing since it’s our home track, so hopefully the No. 83 Safeway Toyota will bring home a good finish.”
“Safeway services so many families all across the county,” said Ron Devine, owner of BK Racing. “It is a real honor to have them on our racecar. We look forward to a successful weekend together.”
