No. 28 DHL HONDA
“We had a pretty good start to the weekend. P2, overall, before the other drivers took a second set of tires – we only used the one set. We ended up P5, just a couple tenths back. It’s a good start. There were a lot of yellows, so we didn’t really get into a rhythm. Looking forward to Saturday.”
The streets of Long Beach were busy today as the NTT INDYCAR SERIES ran the day’s sole practice session. With 28 cars and just 45 minutes of practice on the tight street course, the session was broken up by flags with no car running more than 22 laps. The Andretti stable rolled off the trucks strong and put a best foot forward with all four cars holding the top four spots late in the session, and all finishing the day inside the top nine.
Saturday will bring one more practice followed by qualifying, all with coverage on NBC’s Peacock.
TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
