“Obviously the entire Andretti Steinbrenner team is looking to put Portland behind us, so it’s great that we get to race again this weekend. Laguna is one of those hallmark tracks that are always awesome to drive in an Indy car. We had a good test there back in July, so hopefully we can take what we learned and apply it to this weekend and just have a smooth race!”

he NTT INDYCAR SERIES will continue their three-race West Coast swing to round out the 2021 season as they head to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca for the Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey.
INDYCAR returned to Laguna Seca in 2019 for the first time since the 2004 Champ Car Series season and were poised to come back in 2020 before COVID-19 restrictions put a halt to the series’ return.

James Hinchcliffe and Ryan Hunter-Reay both started and finished in the top 10 in their 2019 outings at Laguna Seca with Hinchcliffe starting fifth and finishing ninth and Hunter-Reay starting ninth and finishing 10th.

TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
