Jack Wood Was Taken Out At Knoxville

Jack Wood, No. 24 Chevy Accessories Chevrolet Silverado

START: 20th

FINISH: 39th

Notes & Quotes:—

  • Jack Wood started 20th at Knoxville by virtue of his fifth place finish in his heat race. Wood was too free on takeoff and could not find the grip to move forward, leading to a 31st place finish in stage one. The team made a few adjustments to help the truck on forward drive, but Wood was unable to drive forward and finished 30th in the second stage. On lap 92, Wood was caught up in someone else’s wreck and that would ultimately end his night with a 39th place finish.

“Knoxville was fun to start out. We were fighting a loose truck early and were just trying to stay out of trouble there until we couldn’t. Really proud of the guys for getting this truck to the track and we’ll go onto Watkins Glen here in a few weeks.”

TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
