The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio came to a close on Sunday as the 26-car field put on quite a show for the July 4th race. Alexander Rossi continued his streak of top-five finishes at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course with a fifth-place finish. A Lap 1 incident involving James Hinchcliffe and Ryan Hunter-Reay forced both cars to pit lane earlier than planned to check for repairs to the No. 29 and No. 28. Colton Herta was on the charge to compete for the lead against Josef Newgarden before encountering a fueling issue during the No. 26 team’s first pit stop. Herta, Hinchcliffe and Hunter-Reay finished Sunday’s race in 13th, 17th and 24th respectively.

All Andretti cars will return to the headquarters in Indianapolis for the summer break before hitting the streets of Nashville for the inaugural Music City Grand Prix on August 8.

TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
