Stage One Recap:
Reddick would start the Alsco Uniforms 300 from the 16th position after a single qualifying lap of 30.374 at 177.74 MPH around the 1.5 Mile Charlotte Motor Speedway Saturday morning solidly locking the No. 31 Bommarito Automotive Chevrolet in the 36-Car starting field.

As the green flag waved and the cars raced towards Turn-1, Reddick would get shuffled back to the 20th spot early in the event.

Running in the 23rd spot when the planned competition caution by NASCAR was issued on Lap-20. Reddick would remain on track and restart in 23rd.

Once the race resumed it took just six-laps before it was stopped once again for a single car accident in Turn-1.

Restarting in 18th the remaining 20-Laps of the stage would see Reddick use the bottom lane to pass advancing to 10th when the Stage was competed on Lap-45.

Stage Two Recap:
At the stage break, Reddick would come to pit lane for four new Goodyear Eagles, fuel, and an adjustment. NASCAR would tag the No. 31 for speeding on pit lane requiring Reddick to restart the stage at the tail end of the lead lap in the 33rd position.

Reddick would waste no time going to work racing towards the front advancing all the way up to 20th by Lap-56.

Passing car after car Reddick would find himself up to 15th by Lap-66.

Searching out different lines on the racetrack of where his car would react the best the No. 31 Bommarito Automotive Group Chevrolet Camaro SS would finish the in-12th position at the end of the Caution free second Stage.

Final Stage:
Under the stage break, Crew Chief Arthur Haire would call Reddick to pit lane for a planned four tire and fuel stop from the over the wall crew, and would rejoin the field in the 14th spot.

Quickly moving to the front Reddick would work his way up to the 8th position by Lap-107.
While running in the 8th spot the sixth caution of the day would wave on Lap-119. Reddick would come to pit lane for four tires and fuel and would rejoin the field in 16th.

The seventh caution of the day would wave on Lap-144 and Crew Chief Haire would call Reddick to pit lane for the team’s last planned four tire and fuel stop of the afternoon. Losing a few spots on pit road the No. 31 would line back up in 18th.

The restart would breed the eighth caution of the day as the leader Ryan Sieg would spin in turns one and two and come back across the track collecting multiple cars in the process. Remaining on track during the caution Reddick would line up in 14th for the restart.

Lap-181 would see the ninth caution of the afternoon as Chase Briscoe would spin around. Reddick would restart tenth after running in the 12th spot.

Running in the eighth position at the time the tenth and final caution of the day would wave on Lap-186 for a multi-car accident in Turn-1.

With many of the front runners receiving damage in the accident and having to pit Reddick would restart in the 4th position for the final restart of the afternoon on Lap-193 Reddick knew he would need to get a good restart after struggling with them most the afternoon. Running hard in the final circuits to track down the leaders Reddick’s car would fall off a bit dropping to fifth place.

When the checkered flag flew on Lap-200, Reddick would cross the line in the 5th position. Giving JAR its second top-ten finish in the NXS in consecutive weeks, and first Top-Five in just two races.

Alsco Uniforms 300 Recap:

  • 54-Ty Gibbs rebounded from a spin early to win the Alsco Uniforms 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It’s Gibbs’ second win of the season, and now has five top-five finishes in six starts this season.
  • 22-Austin Cindric finished second, with #20-Harrison Burton, #68-Brandon Brown and #31-Tyler Reddick rounding out the top five. #99-Chase Briscoe, #23-Ty Dillon, #19-Brandon Jones, #10-Jeb Burton and #51-Jeremy Clements fill out the rest of the top 10.
  • There were 12 lead changes among 10 drivers and 10 cautions for 51 yellow flag laps.

NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship Standings:

After 12 events and the second event JAR could compete in with qualifying, JAR remains in 41st in the NXS Owner Standings after Reddick’s 5th place finish on Saturday afternoon. However, the points deficit to the 40th position now has shrunk to just 10 points.
