No. 20 DEX Imaging Toyota Supra News and Notes:
· Throwback Weekend: Following a one-week break, Harrison Burton and his DEX Imaging team head to Darlington Raceway on Saturday afternoon for NASCAR’s official throwback weekend and the first of two stops during the 2021 season at the historic track located in Darlington, SC. Burton will sport a DEX Imaging throwback paint scheme that honors his father’s iconic Holiday Inn paint scheme in which he ran in the 2006 and 2007 seasons.
· Track Too Tough to Tame: Burton has made two NASCAR Xfinity Series starts at the “Track Too Tough to Tame”, with two top-10 finishes on his resume. Burton has completed 294 of a possible 294 laps at Darlington with an average start of 7.5 and an average finish of 7.5.
· Talladega Recap: The NASCAR Xfinity Series made their first of two stops during the 2021 season at Talladega Superspeedway two weeks ago. After starting third in his Offerpad Supra, Burton was a mainstay inside the top 10 for most of the event, ultimately crossing the finish line in 10th and securing this sixth top-10 finish of the 2021 season.
· Starting Spot Secured: Based on their performance in Talladega, Burton and his DEX Imaging team will start eighth on Saturday afternoon in Darlington.
· Point Standings: Following the first eight races of the 2021 season, Burton and his DEX Imaging team are currently third in the driver points standings, 92 points out of first place heading into the weekend.
· JGR in Darlington: JGR has 66 total starts at Darlington Raceway in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, earning 11 wins, 33 top-five, and 45 top-10 finishes. The championship-winning organization has an average start of 12.6 and an average finish of 10.3.
