No. 20 CRAFTSMAN Toyota Camry News and Notes:
Vegas Bound: Christopher Bell will make his third NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) start at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) this weekend.
Vegas 2020: In his first NCS start at LVMS one year ago, Bell started 22nd after qualifying was rained out and just before the end of stage two spun and made contact with the wall while battling a loose-handling car. He was able to continue to finish 33rd. In the fall of 2020, Bell started 26th and was running in the top 10 during the final stage when he brushed the wall and had to pit for repairs. He was able to remain on the lead lap and cross the finish line 24th.
Bell at Vegas: Bell has had four successful NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) starts at the 1.5-mile oval with three top-five finishes and one pole position. Bell also has three NASCAR Truck Series starts at Vegas, earning one top-five and two top-10 finishes.
Featured on the No.20 Toyota Camry: No. 20 Toyota Camry will carry the CRAFTSMAN colors this weekend in Vegas.
Homestead Recap: Bell started third at Homestead but struggled with handling throughout the race. The team made adjustments throughout the race and Bell ultimately crossed the finish line 20th.
JGR at Las Vegas Motor Speedway: Joe Gibbs Racing has earned three NCS victories at LVMS. In 80 combined starts, the organization has tallied 18 top-five finishes, 36 top-10s and 699 laps led.
RACE INFO: The Pennzoil 400 Presented by Jilly Lube at LVMS begins at 3:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 7, 2021. The race will be broadcast live on FOX, Sirius XM 90, and PRN Radio.
