JONES AT HOMESTEAD-MIAMI SPEEDWAY: The NASCAR Xfinity Series stays in Florida for the third straight week, but this time they head to Homestead-Miami Speedway. This race always turns into a battle and produces lots of excitement. He also earned two eighth place finishes there in 2018 and 2019. The 19 Toyota team will pull from those past four top-eight finishes and head into this weekend’s race with a lot of confidence. The plan is to be aggressive, but smart and come away this weekend with a victory for Toyota.

From the Cockpit:

Brandon Jones: “Our No. 19 Menards Barracuda Pumps Supra secured a fourth-place finish at the Daytona road course this past weekend. We rebounded from the adversity and scored our second consecutive top-five finish on the historic track. Now we are headed to Homestead-Miami Speedway this weekend. Homestead has always been a challenging track, but I have learned tremendously over the years what the track entails. The longer the race runs green the more the tires fall off, which causes the very top line to become the dominant lane. You have to be willing to run the top if you’re going to be there fighting for the win at the end. Our No. 19 Toyota team has had strong runs over the past four years, earning one second and three consecutive top-eight finishes. We have had wins on similar tracks which instills lots of confidence on how to approach this race weekend. I am reviewing videos, hitting the sim and digging deep into our notebook with Jeff (Meendering). We are using every tool at our disposal to prepare and produce the best results. We will be representing Toyota on our Supra and I am looking forward to having a really solid day with them.”
