· Staying in Daytona: Harrison Burton and his DEX Imaging team return to Daytona International Speedway again this weekend, this time tackling the 14-turn, 3.57-mile road course at the famed facility. In his last outing at the Daytona Road Course in August, Burton started eighth and finished ninth in his DEX Imaging Supra.
· Daytona Recap: The NASCAR Xfinity Series kicked off their season last Saturday in the season opening event on the high banks at Daytona. After qualifying was rained out on Saturday morning, the field was set by the rule book with Burton securing the eighth starting spot. After taking over the race lead early in the final stage and going on to lead 28 of a possible 122 laps, Burton eventually crossed the finish line in the third following a wild last lap, securing his first top-five finish of the 2021 season.
· Point Standings: After one race, Burton currently sits fourth in the driver points standings, just 18 points out of first place heading into the weekend.
· Burton at The Road Course: In one NASCAR Xfinity Series start at the Daytona Road Course, Burton has completed 52 of a possible 52 laps, while having one top-10 finish on his resume.
· JGR AT The Daytona Road Course: JGR has three total starts on the Daytona Road Course in the NXS, earning one top-five finish, three top-10 finishes. The team has led two laps, completed 156 of 156 laps (100%) and earned an average finish of 5.7.

I have spent some time in the TRD Simulator getting prepared, and I think Jason and our whole team have a great game plan heading into the weekend.
