No. 95 Rheem Toyota Camry News and Notes:
Hometown Track: Christopher Bell, originally from Norman, Oklahoma, will make his second NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) start at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) this weekend in the No. 95 Procore Toyota Camry for Leavine Family Racing. Norman, Okla. is just over two hours way from TMS.
Procore Tribute to Leavine Family Racing: Procore has been a Leavine Family Racing (LFR) partner since 2017 and in honor of their last race on the No. 95 as a primary partner the car design will pay homage to LFR’s roots. The car will look just like it did in 2011 in LFR’s founding team owner Bob Leavines’ first NASCAR race at his home track of Texas Motor Speedway. The car was originally designed by the late famed NASCAR car design artist Sam Bass.
Racing in the Lone Star State: Bell has made five prior starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) at Texas. In 2019, Bell found his way to victory lane in the fall after qualifying third and leading over half the laps. In addition to his win, Bell has earned two poles, three top-five and four top-10 finishes at the 1.5-mile speedway.
Texas Truck Success: Bell has five Truck Series starts at TMS and found his way to victory lane in 2017. In addition to the win, Bell has two top-five and three top-10 finishes at TMS.
Kansas Recap: Bell started 22nd and by the competition caution had raced his way up to 13th. Bell had a fast No. 95 Toyota Camry throughout the race and crossed the finish line 10th.
RACE INFO: The Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500 at Texas Motor Speedway begins at 3:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 25, 2020. The race will be broadcast live on NBCSN, Sirius XM 90 and PRN Radio.
From the Cockpit:
Christopher Bell: “Texas is a great track for me and my home track as well. There is no reason we can’t run well and compete for another top-10 or top-five finish this weekend. I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
