No. 19 Toyota Service Centers Toyota Supra News and Notes:
2020 NASCAR XFINITY SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP RUN CONTINUES: Brandon Jones and the No. 19 Toyota Service Centers team head to Texas Motor Speedway for the second race of the Round of 8 in the Xfinity Series Playoffs. Jones had a very impressive run at Kansas running in second place the majority of the race until he was hit by a competitor late in the race causing rear bumper damage. The Toyota team jumped into action and showed resilience, fixing the damage and keeping Jones on the lead lap. Jones fought hard and finished in the top-10 to stay competitive in the playoffs. They now head to Texas nine points ahead of the playoff cutoff line.
IN THE SPOTLIGHT: This is a race that Jones and the 19 Toyota team feel they can absolutely win. They have spent many hours in preparation. Crew chief Jeff Meendering has dug deep into their notebook and they are ready to tackle Texas and put their Toyota Service Centers Supra in victory lane and keep advancing in the playoffs.
JGR AT TEXAS: Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) has a total of 96 starts, 13 wins, 9 poles, 37 top-five finishes, 62 top-10 finishes, an average start of 10.2 and an average finish of 11.3.
RACE INFO: O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 at Texas Motor Speedway (1.5-mile) begins at 4:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, October 24, 2020. The race will be broadcast live on NBCSN, SiriusXM Channel 90 and PRN Radio.

Brandon Jones: “We had a very strong Supra at Kansas and ran up front most of the race. Unfortunately, we were involved in someone else’s mistake late in the last stage and didn’t get the finish we were capable of. Now we are heading to one of my favorite tracks on the circuit. Texas Motor Speedway is exactly what we need as a team to continue in the playoffs. It’s a fast mile-and-a-half track and the surface is starting to have a few bumps which really builds a unique characteristic. Texas also holds a lot of grip and always produces great racing. This weekend we have Toyota Service Centers on our Toyota Supra and we are confident that we will have a strong run. We had a solid run there earlier this year and I think we have a really good notebook off that to improve this Saturday. Our team is 100% focused on making it to Phoenix for the final 4 and landing our Toyota Supra back in victory lane.”
