“Sprint race one was tough. We struggled a little bit throughout the race. We had some decent pace to start but then fell off. We are going to make some changes and see if we can make it a little bit better for Saturdays race two.” |

“We had a bit of an up and down day with Sprint X. In qualifying, I was blocked in my two fastest laps, which was unfortunate. Because of that, we will have to start toward the back on Saturday. We ended up third overall and first in class in Sprint X race one. We are making some changes to the McLaren to make it better and hopefully we can move a few spots and take an overall win.” |

“Overall I’m very satisfied with Fridays result! Sonoma is a track that really plays to my strengths, so I was able to put some laps in and hold my third place starting position during my stint. We knew our long run pace would be a struggle, so Jarett had a tough road ahead with the tire wear. It was a bit tense for us on the booth at the end, but he did an excellent job defending third place overall and first in the silver class. We haven’t had the outright speed that we wanted this year, but we have been able to execute at these tracks that don’t suit our car too well. It’ll be a tough couple of races ahead to try to match this result, but we’ll be doing all we can to get there!” |
