No. 19 Menards/Swiffer Toyota Supra News and Notes:

JONES RETURNS TO KANSAS: Brandon Jones returns to the track, Kansas Speedway where he scored his first career NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) win last year. This race is an extra bonus, because the NXS swapped the New Hampshire race for this second Kansas race. Jones will also be racing in back to back Truck Series races with Kyle Busch Motorsports in the No. 51 Menards Toyota Tundra this Friday and Saturday. With the extra track time and the 19 team’s strong mile and a half program, Jones is looking forward to racing on the tri-oval and confident he will be running in the front fighting for their second win there. Jones’ primary sponsor on the No. 19 Toyota Supra this weekend is Menards with Swiffer prominently displayed on the hood.

JGR AT KANSAS SPEEDWAY: Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) has 48 total starts at Kansas Speedway in NXS competition earning nine wins, 15 top-five finishes, 27 top-10 finishes and five pole starting positions. The team has led 1,169 laps, completed 8,818 of 9,632 attempted laps (91.5%) and earned an average start of 10.9 with an average finish of 13.7.

RACE INFO: Kansas Lottery 250 at Kansas Speedway (1.5-mile) begins at 5:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 25. The race will be broadcast live on NBCSN, Sirius XM Channel 90 and MRN Radio.

From the Cockpit:

Brandon Jones: “We had a great points day last week at Texas Motor Speedway. We were able to capture a second and third place finish in the stages with an overall result of seventh. I have a title to hold at Kansas Speedway since I am the reigning champ, where I was able to pick up my first NASCAR Xfinity win last year. Our mile and a half program has been extremely competitive across the board this year. I have a jam-packed weekend on track. Besides being on track with NASCAR Xfinity I will be competing in both Truck races Friday and Saturday for Kyle Busch Motorsports in the No. 51 Menards Tundra. For me, this track is fun because the groove moves up near the wall, so it allows you to move around the track and adjust your line during the race. We will have Swiffer proudly displayed on our hood and our 19 Menards team is focused on getting our Toyota Supra back in victory lane.”

TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
