“It was unfortunate we had a failure in the Sprint X race one. Colin ran a good stint and it looked like we were going to come out in second position. Unfortunately it wasn’t in the cards for us but our crew has the car fixed and ready to go for race two on Saturday!”
No. 18 ENDURANCE AUTO WARRANTY MCLAREN
STARTED Fourth // FINISHED Second
“Sprint race one was solid on Friday as we were able to have a good opening lap and slot ourselves into second. We didn’t quite have the pace to compete with the leader for the win but second is a solid day from fourth and with the second fastest race lap of the day we will start from the front row Saturday in race two.”

STARTED Fourth // FINISHED DNF
“Race one was definitely a disappointment. We had a good start, putting our McLaren in third before the driver change. Jarett had a good start to the run, and we were on track for a solid podium finish. Unfortunately, a failure on the left front meant we wouldn’t see the checkered flag. I feel really bad for the whole team, who are always some of the hardest working guys in the paddock. I’m glad we’ll have another couple shots at a good result this weekend!”

TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
