From the Cockpit:
Brandon Jones: : “It’s going to be great to race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Memorial Day and a special one. NASCAR and our team will pay tribute to honor all the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces that have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. We had a rough race Thursday at Darlington, but our 19 Menards team is ready to rebound at Charlotte. I have spent a good amount of time studying, practicing in the simulator, and looking at our notebook. I feel confident coming into our team’s home track and feel well prepared. It’s been great to finally get back to the track and Charlotte is a great place to have our first mile and a half race since the long break. Charlotte is a fun but challenging mile and a half. We will be searching for grip and moving our lines a lot throughout the day. For fans this makes a great race to watch. We have a lot to prove this weekend with Menards back on our Supra and Pelonis on the hood. I’m looking forward to getting back on the track with my No. 19 guys and putting our Toyota back in the top-five where it belongs.”
TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
