No. 19 Toyota Menards/Soleus Air Toyota Supra News and Notes:
· BRANDON JONES AT PHOENIX: Jones and the 19 Menards team are on a roll and will keep building on the momentum while heading to ISM Raceway. The short track is just what the doctor ordered and the team will use every minute to figure out the one-mile oval to win Saturday’s race and prepare for next year when the 2020 championship race will be run there. Jones will also be piloting the No. 51 Tundra for Kyle Busch Motorsports and that will help him gain valuable lap time there and work on getting his first Truck Series race win. This weekend will be Brandon Jones’ eighth NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) start at Phoenix, and he has shown huge improvement on the one-mile oval his last couple visits. With only two races left in the 2019 season, the No. 19 team is focused on driving to the front and earning another win.

From the Cockpit:
Brandon Jones: “The last two weeks have really been the breakthrough that we needed to go into Phoenix. When I looked at all the tracks on the schedule this season, I circled a few that I wanted to pay extra close attention to and ISM Raceway was one of them. The track is very technical with two very different ends, so we’ve spent the last couple weeks preparing for it on the TRD Simulator. This is the most confident that I’ve felt coming into a race at ISM Raceway and I’m sure my Menards team feels the same way. I’m really excited to have Soleus Air on the hood of our Supra this weekend—we’ve had them join us for a few Truck Series races earlier this season, so to have them partner with us at the Xfinity level is pretty special.”
TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
