NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series Playoffs: Talladega kicks off the second round of the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series Playoffs. Matt Crafton sits fifth in the driver points standings, with a three point deficit from fourth-place Stewart Friesen, who has the final spot for the Championship 4 finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Nov. 15.

Crafton Marks a Milestone: When Matt Crafton takes the green flag Saturday in the Sugarlands Shine 250 he will be making his 450th consecutive start in the Gander Trucks. Among his success in the past 19 seasons, the two-time champion has earned 15 poles, and led 2,559 laps en route to 14 wins, 115 top-five and 270 top-10 finishes.

In 13 Gander Trucks Talladega starts, Crafton has a series career track-best finish of fourth in 2010 and track-best start of third in 2014. In addition, he has led 57 laps at the track in the Gander Trucks.

Johnny Sauter

Johnny Sauter hopes to repeat what he did in the 2013 Gander Trucks race by finding himself in victory lane at Talladega Superspeedway. He has made 10 series starts at the track earning his highest start of second in 2017. He has led 55 laps and averages an 11.4 finish.

Ross Chastain & Grant Enfinger

Grant Enfinger looks to add a second win at his home track, and his third career Gander Trucks victory, to his resume in his own backyard in Saturday’s Sugarlands Shine 250 at Talladega.

Enfinger has 79 career Gander Trucks start to his credit. His success includes five poles and 564 laps led en route to two wins, 26 top-five and 49 top-10 finishes.

Ben Rhodes

Ben Rhodes will make his fourth Gander Trucks start at Talladega Saturday afternoon. He scored his highest Gander Trucks career start, 10th, and finish, 16th, in 2017.

Ford Fact: Ford has gone to victory lane 99 times since 1995 in the Gander Trucks including one win at Talladega in 2006 with Mark Martin behind the wheel.

Catch the drivers Friday, Oct. 11 at Talladega as Johnny Sauter, Ben Rhodes, and Grant Enfinger will be signing autographs at the Ford stage at 1 p.m. CT in the Fan Zone.
