“Although I’ll miss Sonoma after our pole-to-win performance there last year, it’s great to have Laguna Seca back on the INDYCAR schedule. Laguna Seca is one of those iconic tracks that belong on the NTT IndyCar Series calendar. I have some great memories there, most notably winning in Formula Atlantic in 2021 as well as hosting three of our [Racing for Cancer’s] Race to Beat Cancer events at the venue. We’re also looking forward to seeing all of our partners in attendance and running a new livery in honor of DHL’s 50th Anniversary this year.”

In his four racing starts at Laguna Seca, Ryan Hunter-Reay holds one win from the pole (Formula Atlantic, 2002) and two top-five finishes (IndyCar, 2004 / Grand Am, 2006)

Hunter-Reay’s No. 28 machine will wear a special paint scheme for the season finale event, celebrating DHL’s 50th year of service.

TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
