ThorSport Notes For Pocono

Johnny Sauter
  • ThorSport Racing has made 27 starts at Pocono Raceway. The Sandusky, Ohio-based team’s success includes one pole award 2017, Ben Rhodes, seven top-five and 15 top-10 finishes at the track.
  • Johnny Sauter will make his 10th NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series start at Pocono Raceway in the No. 13 Tenda Ford F-150 truck Saturday, July 27. He has three top-five’s and six top-10’s and has led 16 laps at the track.
  • In addition to his win at Dover International Speedway on May 3, Sauter has three top-five and six top-10 finishes, along with 76 laps led in 12 series starts this season.
Matt Crafton
  • In nine Gander Trucks, starts at Pocono Raceway, Matt Crafton has two top five’s and six top-10 finishes. He finished ninth in last year at the track.
  • Crafton holds the record for consecutive starts (443) in the Gander Trucks. Among his success in the past 19 seasons, the two-time champion has earned 15 poles, and led 2,559 laps en route to 14 wins, 115 top-five and 266 top-10 finishes. 
Grant Enfinger
  • Grant Enfinger has two NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series (Gander Trucks) starts at Pocono Raceway since 2017, including a track-best start of fifth (2018) and a track-best finish of sixth (2018). Additionally, the ThorSport Racing driver has eight ARCA Menards Series starts, which include 25 laps led, en route to one win (2016), five top-five and seven top-10 finishes.
  •  With only three races remaining to lock yourself in to the 2019 Playoffs, Enfinger, who is currently leading the driver points standings, with a 34-point lead, is currently in on points – the Regular Season Champion is guaranteed a spot in the Playoffs.
Ben Rhodes
  • Ben Rhodes will enter Saturday’s race at Pocono looking for his first Gander Trucks Series win. He has tallied a pole (2017) and a best finish, second (2017).
  • Rhodes’ 2019 season entails five top-five and eight top-10 finishes including 72 laps led.
  • Ford Fact: Ford has one Gander Trucks victory at Pocono – Ryan Blaney in 2013.
