Martin Truex Jr., Driver of the No. 19 Bass Pro Shops / TRACKER ATVs Toyota Camry

  • “I’m excited to get to Daytona. We were able to enjoy some downtime in the offseason, but I think everyone is ready to get back to the track. This first weekend is always fun to see everybody at the track again. For me, it will be good to work with the new team and start that process towards building a strong group. I think that process will be a little easier for us with Cole (Pearn, crew chief), James (Small, race engineer), Blake (Harris, car chief) and the guys that came with us from last year. But to get to spend time with the guys that I haven’t been around much will be good and hopefully we’ll hit the ground running. I felt good about how everything went at the one test we did in the offseason, so I expect everything to be good to go.”
