Vinnie Miller will return to Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) for the second time in his rookie NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) season. This time Miller will return piloting the No. 78 BJ McLeod Motorsports (BJMM) Camaro in the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 Saturday, November 3rd.
Miller looks to improve his 39th place finish on the 1.5-mile Fort Worth, Texas track after being involved in an accident on lap 15 in the spring NXS event.
“Texas Motor Speedway is a fun track; at least for the 15 laps I raced on it,” Miller joked. “I was bumped from behind, the air was taken off me causing me to spin and back the car into the fence. It is really fast and there is definitely only one lane to race on unless the tire dragon is used to put more grip on the track. I’m ready to go back to no limits Texas and grab the bull by the horns. I’m looking forward to continuing the streak of top-25 finishes for this No. 78 BJ McLeod Motorsports team.”
Since Miller has moved to the No. 78 BJMM team in October he has posted two top-25 finishes in three events.
The O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 NXS race from Texas Motor Speedway is slated to begin Saturday, November 3rd at 3:30pm. The race will be broadcast live on NBCSN (NBC Sports App) and PRN Radio.
TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
