Gallagher’s Day Didn’t End Well At Talladega

Cody Coughlin

Spencer Gallagher, No. 2 Allegiant Chevrolet

START: 2nd

FINISH: 25th

OWNER PTS: 14th

Notes:

– Qualifying second for Saturday’s race at Talladega Superspeedway was a track-best effort for Spencer Gallagher.

Quote:

“It’s a shame for this GMS group. I think we had, hands down, the fastest truck out in the field today. I was able to go wherever I wanted to and whenever I wanted. I went from the back to contending for the lead pretty much on command. Doug (Randolph) and the No. 2 boys brought me a fast Allegiant Chevy and I just hate it for them that we couldn’t get the win. I feel like this was going to be our day.

“Even though today didn’t end how our team wanted, I couldn’t be happier for Timothy (Peters) and the No. 25 team. He’s a force to be reckoned with at Talladega, that’s for sure. I’m glad that GMS Racing is the one bringing home the win this weekend.”

TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
