• Sadler has enjoyed much success at Daytona International Speedway. Since the introduction of stage racing, Sadler has claimed a series-high three stage wins at Daytona.
• In 18 NXS starts at DIS, the veteran driver has seven top-five and nine top-10 finishes, with one pole award (1997). Three of those top fives were runner-up finishes, two of which came in the two most recent events.
• Of series regulars, Sadler has led the most laps at the 2.5- mile tri-oval, totaling 186 laps throughout his NXS career.
“This weekend will be a lot of fun. It’s our last (traditional restrictor) plate race of the year. We’ve had strong runs at Daytona over the last two years, winning multiple stages and getting a few second-place finishes. We have Armour Chili back on our Chevrolet this weekend and also the 180th Cavalry Regiment on our windshield. I’m proud of our sport and everything they do to show appreciation to our military members and their families. The military unit on my car is currently overseas. This weekend we honor and thank them, and all others currently fighting.”
TI NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
