• Sadler is the only driver with five single-digit finishes in the first five starts among both the Xfinity Series and Cup Series. The Virginia native’s average 2018 finish is 4.8.

• In 20 starts at Texas Motor Speedway, Sadler has four top-five and 13 top-10 finishes, with two pole awards (April 1998 and November 2011). Sadler earned one win at Texas in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2004.

• In his four starts at Texas with JR Motorsports, Sadler has never finished outside the top 10.

“After a strong start to the season, my team and I enjoyed the last few off weekends with family. Heading to Texas this weekend, we’ll all be rejuvenated and ready to get back at it. JR Motorsports has a great mile-and-a-half program and Texas is a fast mile-and-a-half track. Over the last two years, Kevin (Meendering, crew chief) and the guys have done a great job of getting our car to where it needs to be in order to handle the Texas corners. We have some great notes from after the repave and good momentum heading into this weekend. I’m ready to get back into my OneMain Financial Chevrolet.” – Elliott Sadler
