Chatting with Cody Coughlin…
“I enjoyed Las Vegas last year when I went to that track for the first time. It’s a fast mile-and-a-half track and I like racing at that kind of track. The most challenging part about a race there is that it’s a one-day show so we have to be good right off the truck and go from there. I know that my ThorSport Racing team will give me the best truck possible once we unload. It’s going to be a good day and I’m looking forward to it.”

Chatting with Ben Rhodes…
“I love Vegas. I think its a really fun race track and it has one of the best turnouts of fans – they’re awesome – and they get to interact with us up close in the garages, the facilities are top-notch. There’s good racing, a good line, it’s smooth, it’s fast, it’s just a really good race track. It’s a favorite of mine because it’s just so different than the other mile-and-a-half tracks we go to.”

Chatting with Matt Crafton…
You’ve had three second-place finishes at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. What is it about the track that suits your driving style?
“The groove seems to move around a little more – you get to slip and slide a lot more than you do at some of these other mile-and-a-half tracks that we race at. That’s one of my favorite things about mile-and-a-half race tracks, the groove seems to move around, and we get to search for more grip – that’s why I always enjoy going to Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It’s also the closest track to home. I’m from out west, in California, so there are a lot of friends and family from out there that I get to see.”

Included in his success is one lap led (2012), and one top-10 finish (2016). The Jive Communications driver has a track-best start of ninth (2012), and a track-best finish of 10th (2016).

Chatting with Grant Enfinger…
“Vegas is very bumpy, so you have to figure that into the setup there. One day shows make for a very long day at the track, but I do feel like it helps the team owners cut some costs, so I like that part of it. I do feel like the track will change from practice to the race, but I don’t think it will be as much of a swing as some of the other places we go to.”
