  • Finished the day sixth overall with a best lap time of 01:00.8321
“The UFD car was decent on reds (alternate tires). We still have a little to tweak to be further up than the top six. We’re not completely out of the ballpark, but we need to be a little better.”

  • Finished the day eighth overall with a best lap time of 01:00.9509
“It was a good session and it’s so nice to be back in Toronto. The fans are always so enthusiastic here. I really appreciate all the support, everybody comes to see us. We had good weather today. The car is working well, too. I think it was a productive session and we learned a lot. We still need to work hard, but we have a little room to go faster tomorrow, so I’m quite looking forward to that.”

  • Finished the day ninth overall with a best lap time of 01:00.9692
“We finished practice today in the top 10 overall which is an improvement over last year. We’re still not completely satisfied with the car, there is a lot more potential in there. We still have a lot of work to do to challenge for the top six in tomorrow’s qualifying, and hopefully we can get the DHL machine a good starting position.”

  • Finished the day 14th overall with a best lap time of 01:01.3164
“It was a difficult Friday – we were just working to find a balance I liked. I think we have a good car on most of the track, but we are really struggling in one particular area that the teammates aren’t. I think if we can resolve that, we have a top six to top 10 car – which is what we’ll obviously need to earn a decent starting spottomorrow.”

  • Finished the day fourth overall with a best lap time of 1:06.8706
“It was a bit of a struggle in practice. We knew it was going to be a bit of a struggle coming into it because we’ve never been here before. I don’t think we rolled off great and we have some stuff to look at and we have some time to find, but we should be all good in qualifying. It seemed like in St. Pete we were off a little bit in practice but then found it in qualifying. This place is a big step up in the bumpiness than in St. Pete, but we’re adjusting to it and trying to get the cars adjusted to it.”

  • Finished the day ninth overall with a best lap time of 1:07.1942
“The first practice session is in the books here in Toronto. It feels great to be back here racing in front of the home crowd. The track is just as bumpy, maybe bumpier, than I remember from last year, that’s a testament to our Canadian winters. The cars are a step up from where we were last year – we really struggled here last season in our first year in the Indy Lights program. I think with the combined feedback from all four drivers this year, we’ll be able to take a good chunk at it today and have good cars for qualifying sessions and racing the rest of the weekend.”

  • Finished the day 12th overall with a best lap time of 1:07.3231
“Overall, it was a pretty tough practice – I didn’t feel the car very well. We had a lot of understeer in all the slow corners, so I was unable to carry any mid-corner speed and I had no rotation. So, it hurt the exit of the turn as well. We’ll work with my engineer tonight to come up with something better for tomorrow.”

  • Finished the day 13th overall with a best lap time of 1:08.2495
“Practice was definitely interesting. I’ve never been here before, and I came to Toronto only knowing the direction the turns were going to go. The bumps were more powerful than I thought they were going to be. I think we just need to find the correct line going into Turn 1 in the braking zone. I can maximize the braking more, but I need to get used to it. I have fast teammates, so we’ll go look at data  and be back stronger in qualifying tomorrow.”

TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
