Elliott Sadler is set to run double-duty this weekend, piloting the No. 7 Golden Corral Chevrolet for Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) in Sunday’s Geico 500 at Talladega SuperSpeedway.
Golden Corral, a longtime partner of TBR, will serve as the primary sponsor on Sadler’s No. 7 Chevrolet. In addition to competing for a victory on Sunday, he will be racing for a Top-10 finish so kids can eat free at Golden Corral on Monday, May 8th. Sadler, who ran a similar paint scheme last weekend at Richmond International Raceway in the XFINITY Series and captured a top 10, is hoping to fulfill that promotion yet again this weekend.
Sadler commented, “I’m thankful for Tommy Baldwin and Golden Corral for once again giving me the support and opportunity to drive the No. 7 Chevrolet. I love Talladega and plate racing. We had a great showing together in the Daytona 500 and led some laps. I’m looking forward to back-to-back Top-10 finishes with Golden Corral and honoring another Kids Eat Free promotion.”
“Elliott had a great finish at Richmond last weekend,” said Shelley Wolford, Vice President of National Marketing and Media at Golden Corral. “We’ll be cheering him and the TBR team on this Sunday at Talladega as he races again for kids across America!”
TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
