Dollar General has a big surprise planned for everyone at Blountville Elementary School in Blountville, Tennessee! No one knows what’s in store on Friday morning—not the students, not the teachers, not even the principal!

Dollar General, in partnership with Suave®, will surprise Blountville Elementary School in Blountville, Tennessee with a guest appearance by Dale Earnhardt Jr. and a $50,000 check on Friday morning as part of the company’s Reading Revolution program. The school’s administration and teachers do not know what the surprises are, so you’ll want to be there to capture their excitement!
School administrators may use the Reading Revolution funds at their discretion to best achieve this goal by purchasing books, technology programs, computers and/or other educational supplies or resources. Dollar General’s community outreach centers around literacy and education.
Since its inception in 2013, Dollar General has donated more than $2.3 million to schools through its Reading Revolution program.
