No. 28 DHL Honda

“We have one goal this weekend and that is to get back to our winning ways at Barber. After logging race wins in 2013 and 2014 we’ve spent too much time away from the podium here. The team, as a whole, has done a great job through the first two rounds of the series when it comes to fielding fast, competitive race cars. Long Beach is yet another race that slipped form our grasp, so we’ll be looking to rebound strong this weekend.”

No. 26 Andretti Autosport Honda

“Barber is a fun track. It has good elevations with beautiful greens and dense woods. Nicely flowing high-speed corners make it quite challenging, and I always enjoy driving there. We had a productive test at this track a few weeks ago which was a warm day so much more representative of the race weekend than the usual cold spring test. Despite the track being very fast and a great corner combination, it is very difficult to make an overtake. So qualifying will be very important, and the speed we showed at test was encouraging. We had a tough weekend at Long Beach so hope everything will go well this weekend.”

“It’s really important that we look to this weekend to rebound from Long Beach. Somehow we are still top 10 in the points standings, and we don’t want to fall any lower. We had a good test at Barber a few weeks back, so we are looking to convert that into a podium or win for the 27 team.”

“I’m very excited to get to Barber this weekend. We’ve dealt with our fair share of bad luck already this year, so hopefully we can translate the inherent pace we know we have in the car into a result.”

“I am very excited to get back into the Flip Side car for Barber (Motorsports Park) this weekend. We were really quick in offseason testing there, and I think the track really suits my driving style – I think we will be able to get a pair of good results. I’ve been preparing with quite a bit of simulation racing and working with our engineers, so it’s full steam ahead!”

“It’s been a long break since St. Petersburg, so it’ll be great to get back in the car at Barber (Motorsport Park). We’ve had a lot going on since the first race and I was able to go to the Grand Prix of Long Beach and spend time with the Indy car teams observing on the engineering stand. It was a great learning opportunity. Our cars showed great speed at St. Pete, and Barber’s one of my favorite tracks on the calendar, so I’m looking forward to the race. We’ve tested here a lot, and I think the Andretti Autosport No. 28 K-Line Insulators USA crew has a great shot this weekend. I’m ready to continuing our upward progression we’ve started in St. Pete.”

“I’m very excited to be back on track after the long break. St Petersburg was rough for us, but the Synova team has been hard at work ever since leaving the track to get back stronger than ever. I feel I am in my best shape and I love Barber Motorsports Park. I’ve had good success there before and it’s a beautiful facility. I can’t wait to get back to business and see what we can do.”
