Gallagher Motorsports officials announced that Descartes, a global leader in providing on-demand, software-as-a-service solutions focused on improving the productivity, performance and security of logistics-intensive businesses, will sponsor the team for select races during the second half of the 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCTWS) season. The company’s NASCAR premier will come at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in September.
The Waterloo, Ontario-based organization will serve as primary sponsor for Kaz Grala, who will make his NCWTS road-course debut at CTMP. In four starts this season, Kaz has two top-10 finishes, with a career-best finish of eighth at Gateway Motorsports Park.
“I am really excited that Descartes has chosen to participate with GMS Racing,” said 17-year-old Kaz Grala. “They are fairly new in the motorsports world and I know that GMS Racing will provide them with the perfect NASCAR experience. It would be really awesome to get the Descartes Chevrolet into victory lane and earn my first NCWTS win.”
The No. 24 Descartes Chevrolet Silverado will take to the track at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park with live coverage on FS1 and MRN Radio Sunday, September 4 at 2:30 PM EST.
