RacewayNEMCO Motorsports’ NASCAR Camping World Truck Series History at the Pocono Raceway … This weekend will mark NEMCO Motorsports’ third NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at the Long Pond, Pa., facility. The organization posted a team best 10th-place finish at the track with driver Joe Nemechek on August 2, 2014. Two starts at the Pocono Raceway have earned NEMCO Motorsports an average starting position of 14.5 and an average finish of 11.5. NEMCO Motorsports has completed 133 of 133 laps (100.0%) contested at the track.
NEMCO Motorsports’ NASCAR Camping World Truck Series History … Since entering the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 1995, the Mooresville, N.C.,-based organization has logged 81 starts from five drivers, resulting in strong performances that include three victories (Watkins Glen, Chicago and Atlanta) and 17 top-five finishes, as well as 40 top-10 finishes with an average starting position of 14.1 and an average finishing position of 12.2.
All in the Family … Team owner Joe Nemechek has two top-five and four top-10 finishes in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in 39 starts at the Pocono Raceway. In July 1997, Nemechek won the pole award at the 2.5-mile tri-oval. In addition, Nemechek has one NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start (2014) at the Pocono Raceway finishing in the 10th-place.

Local Connection … NEMCO Motorsports truck chief Brandon Barr hails from Williamsport, Pennsylvania. A Williamsport Area High School class of 2014 alumni, Barr competed at the, now-defunct, Hughesville Raceway in go-karts. His first foray into his professional motorsports career came with veteran C.W. “Skip” Smith, a former NASCAR XFINTY Series and ARCA Racing Series driver.
Meet John Hunter Nemechek … Fans can visit the Team Chevy Racing display located in the fan midway at the Pocono Raceway for a question and answer session with John Hunter Nemechek on Friday, July 29 at 10:30 a.m. (ET). Nemechek is also scheduled to participate in an autograph session with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, located in the Pocono Raceway infield behind the Victory Lane building, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. (ET) on Friday.
Catch the Action … The Pocono Mountains 150 will be broadcast live on FS1 on Saturday, July 30 starting with the pre-race show at 12:30 p.m. (ET). It will also broadcast live at 12:30 p.m. (ET) on the Motor Racing Network (MRN) and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. Qualifying for the 12th event of the 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule will air on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. (ET) on FS1. In addition, the practice sessions on Friday, July 29 will be televised live on FS1 beginning at 12:30 p.m. (ET).
The Pocono Mountains 150 at the Pocono Raceway will re-air an additional three times: Saturday, July 30 at 11:00 p.m., and Sunday, July 31 at 9:00 a.m. (ET) on FS1 and Sunday, July 31 at 6:30 a.m. (ET) on FOX Sports 2.

This Week’s NEMCO Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado at the Pocono Raceway … John Hunter Nemechek will pilot Chassis No. 041 in the Pocono Mountains 150 at the Pocono Raceway. The Gere Kennon-led team last unloaded this NEMCO Motorsports prepared chassis at the Kentucky Speedway on July 7 where they finished in the second-position after starting in the 16th-postion in the chassis’ third debut of the 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season. Other starts with Chassis No. 041 include: Texas Motor Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway.
It’s Tricky, it’s Tricky … This weekend marks John Hunter Nemechek’s second Pocono Raceway appearance with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The Mooresville, N.C., driver has earned an average starting position of 9.0 and an average finishing position of 13.00 at the Long Pond, Pa., facility.
Race Rewind: Pocono Raceway … Pocono Raceway, known as the “Tricky Triangle,” lived up to its reputation for John Hunter Nemechek’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series track debut. A 13th-place finish masked the actual performance of Nemechek, driver of the No. 8 D.A.B. Constructors Inc. Chevrolet Silverado for NEMCO Motorsports. He contended as high as sixth, but a pit road penalty on Lap 31 upset his effort. Nemechek was scored in the 17th-position on Lap 40, and raced into the 14th-position before untimely crossing the finish line in the 13th-place.
In the Rearview Mirror: Eldora Speedway … John Hunter Nemechek and his No. 8 Berry’s Manufacturing Chevrolet Silverado for NEMCO Motorsports battled back from early adversity slinging mud in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at the Eldora Speedway. Nemechek was collected in an early-race accident on Lap 39, and eventually fell 21 laps down in the 150-lap race, but he fought back to finish in the 24th-postion.
Season-to-date … Through the first 11 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races of the 2016 season, John Hunter Nemechek has completed 1765 of 1816 laps contested (97.2 percent), has led 61 laps and is currently eighth in the driver point standings. In addition, the NEMCO Motorsports driver has one pole award (Iowa) and has collected one victory (Atlanta), three top-five and five top-10 finishes, has spent 1,351 laps running in the top 15 and has made 450 green-flag passes thus far this season.
