Ross Chastain has a solid record at Richmond International Raceway. In two Xfinity Series races at the three-quarter-mile track last year, Chastain scored runs of 17th and 15th, both in JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolets. Chastain hopes to improve on those numbers in Saturday’s ToyotaCare 250, the eighth race of the Xfinity season.
“I like Richmond a lot,” Chastain said. “It’s a short track, but it’s fast, and you have to be on your toes. It’s a good track to pass on when your car is set up right.”
Chastain, driving the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Florida Watermelon Association No.4 Chevrolet this weekend, is 13th in Xfinity points entering the race.
