Circle Sport-Leavine Family Racing Ready To Rebound At Richmond

Michael McDowell
CONCORD, N.C. (April 20, 2016) – The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) will take on Richmond International Raceway this Sunday, with driver Michael McDowell piloting the No. 95 WRL General Contractors Chevrolet SS for Circle Sport-Leavine Family Racing (CSLFR).

After a challenging run at Bristol, McDowell and the No. 95 team are ready to rally this weekend at Richmond. McDowell has 10 career NSCS starts at Richmond with a career best finish of 20th.

“Richmond is a fun track,” said McDowell. “It’s one of my top three or four tracks because it’s fun to race on and smaller teams can find success there. We’re in a spot now where we need to gain some momentum back from Bristol so I’m looking forward to this race and challenging ourselves to finish strong. Having a car that can hold on for long runs and making sure the tires don’t fall off are the keys to finding success this weekend.”

As part of the NASCAR Race to Green initiative, CSLFR is highlighting their partnership with MastiClean this weekend at Richmond. MastiClean is a multi-purpose green cleaning solution that works on applications at home or on the job.  The race team utilizes the multi-purpose cleaner for oils and grease, a scrubbing wipe for hand cleaning and surface prep, and a glass cleaner in the race shop everyday.  MastiClean will be featured on the side quarter panels of the No. 95 Chevrolet during the Richmond race weekend.

“Green Way Labs researches and develops eco-friendly cleaning products using newer plant-based technology,” said Ted Cote, co-founder and CEO of MastiClean parent company Green Way Laboratories. “Our mission is simple; create truly green cleaning products that work better than traditional toxic cleaning products. They’ve been tested on the toughest substances and common surfaces and the results are downright amazing. Our partnership with Circle Sport-Leavine Family Racing offers a real-world motorsports based platform that proves the products work.”

“Green Way Labs and the MastiClean line of products have allowed our race team to eliminate some of the harsh chemicals used by many teams,” said Don Smyle, Director of Marketing for CSLFR.  “These products not only reduce exposure for our team, but provide an effective cleaning solution that exceeds our needs.”

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race will take place on Sunday, April 24 at 1:00 p.m. ET at Richmond International Raceway. Race fans can follow the team on Twitter at @CSLFR95 for updates.
