Erik Jones showed everyone the fast way around The Colosseum, aka Bristol Motor Speedway, this morning. It was the first pole at Bristol in the relative short racing career of this Joe Gibbs Racing young gun!

The XFINITY show this afternoon will debut a whole new format for the top three tiers of NASCAR. The NXS show will begin with two 50 laps “heat races”. The odd numbered qualifiers (1-19) will run in the first heat race. The even numbered qualifiers (2-20) will run in the second heat race.
The way the cars finish in the first heat will set up the order for the inside line and the way that the race car finishes in second heat race establishes the outside line starting order for the 200 lap feature race, the Fitzgerald Glider Kits 300.
