2015 NASCAR K&N East champion and Kyle Busch Motorsports No.9 Tundra driver, William Byron, drove his way to the top of the leaderboard in the first of three Camping World Truck Series practice sessions Friday at the Martinsville Speedway with a time of 19.868 which is a speed of 95.309 mph.
Finishing just behind Byron is Red Horse Racing driver #17 Timothy Peters with a time of 19.995 and a speed of 94.704 mph.
After the first round of practice were Kyle Busch Motorsports owner and driver of the No.18 Toyota Tundra, Kyle Busch, Gallagher Motorsports#21 Chevy driven by Johnny Sauter, the No.oo JR Motorsports Chevy Silvderado with Cole Custer behind the wheel, #02 Tyler Young, ThorSport Racing’s No.88 Tundra driven by Matt Crafton, Brad Keselwoski Racing’s No.19 with Daniel Hemric in the cockpit, ThorSport Racing’s No.41 driven by Ben Rhodes, and Gallagher Motorsports No.24 with “Young Money”, Kyle Larson.
The 2016 Camping World Truck Series points leader Parker Kligerman was 21st fastest with a speed of 92.619 mph in the #92 RBR Motorsports Ford.
