The ThorSports Racing “Young Gun”, Ben Rhodes topped the leaderboard in Friday’s second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice at the Martinsville Speedway with a lap time of 19.839 and a speed of at 95.448 mph. Not far behind Rhodes was the first session’s fast time leader, William Byron. Byron posted a lap time of 19.856 and a speed of 95.367 mph in the second session.
Following Byron and rounding out the top 10 were, Cole Custer with a lap time of 19.901 and a speed of 95.151 mph, Tyler Reddick turning in a lap of 19.905 and 95.132 mph, Spencer Gallagher, new comer Kaz Grala, Matt Crafton, Timothy Peters, Daniel Hemric, and Daniel Suarez.
Series points leader Parker Kligerman was 15th fastest with a speed of 94.115 mph.
The only caution that came out during the second practice session was for the #14 Chevrolet of Natalie Decker.
