Friday afternoon Kevin Harvick hung a qualifying speed of 204 mph out there for everyone to chock on!

The man behind the wheel of the #4 Stewart-Haas Racing Budweiser Chevy won all three rounds of qualifying, he set two track records in the process.

Harvick’s fastest time came in the third round of qualifying for the fastest 12 drivers,.  It was then that he ripped off a lap time of 35.198 while hitting over 204 miles per hour.

The old track record was set by Joey Logano in 2013 at a speed of 203.949 miles per hour.

The pole win was the ninth overall for Harvick, and his third this season!

Behind the “freaky fast” Harvick in the final round of qualifying were Hendrick Motorsports teammates Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr., who were separated by just eight-hundredths of a second.

Aric Almirola and Paul Menard rounded out the top five, while Brad Keselowski qualified in sixth place.

TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
